The RW1 was a natural evolution from the watch stands, and the first concepts for it began in the Fall of 2023. After having gone through a rigorous and iterative design process with several rounds of user testing and multiple working prototypes, the final version is a culmination of fellow enthusiasts’ wants and needs with design influence from a wide range of precedents.
Crowdfunding was a crucial part of making the RW1 a reality. The campaign ran for 30 days and raised a total of $23,751. With production completed in August 2025, the RW1 is set to ship out this fall.
